PinoPine, represented by its Technical Director, João Serrano, attended the workshop “Portuguese R&D&I Agenda for Resin,” where it gave a presentation entitled “Secondary Transformation of Rosin: Main Reactions versus Applications.” In addition to the important knowledge sharing that took place during the event, some steps were also taken towards the future “Portuguese Research Agenda for Maritime Pine (Pinus pinaster)”.

In collaboration with the Chemistry Students Association of the University of Aveiro, we welcomed students from the Chemistry, Biochemistry, and Biotechnology courses for a study visit. This allowed them to have their first contact with a company that produces natural gum resin derivatives, where they were able to understand our processes, products, and applications.
